We never sunbathe, either here or anywhere else.
We have more respect for our skin!

and are you ginger? ginger ;0)
er - sunbathing is bad for you! I'm not a sun bather but have spent a lot of time outdoors resulting in multiple occurrences of skin cancer.
We've got better things to do and see than sunbathe.

aww c'mon, I actually mean sitting in your garden in the sun, you haven't done that either???
I never sunbathe, I just go bright red, burn badly and peel. I'm not ginger. I do enjoy sitting in the shade with a good book
I might sit in my garden in the shade but not in the sun.
nope - upstairs flat!
When I sit in my garden, I am forever squealing and running indoors when flying insect descend on me. I then come back out 5 minutes later only to repeat the above.
Yes bobbi, I am ginger and have always avoided being in the Sun...apart from which it makes me feel not-too-good.
Sometimes in a beer garden - my pal always wants to sit in the sun (Italian ancestry) I always sit under the umbrella.

that I can understand Gingejbee
...I actually asked my GP about this, and he said "You're not designed for round here- you'd be better off in Scandinavia"! (Not on the NHS, though!)

ha! good answer from him huh?
Yes. The heat is different for a start especially when there is no sea to run into. I find it often too hot to lie in my garden and I get uncomfortable but I can spend all day lying on a foreign beach, even though the temperature is higher.

I'm too fidgety Prudie , now I have quite a large garden that could definitely house a nice size pool. (thinks! )
I never used to be able to, never really had the skin for it(lots of freckles and my ‘tache when I had one was ginger) but am able to tolerate it a lot more these days, but then I use factor 50 to start with on holiday.

Plus I’ll sunbathe naked on holiday(when conditions permit) as I do find clothes(even swim shorts) restrictive in warmer climes.
Question Author
Iv'e quite a dark skin but I still use factor 50 Fatts
I haven't sunbathed anywhere for years and years. It's boring. And besides that I don't want suntanned brown skin. Not nice on elderly ladies like what I am! and very ageing.

I love sunshine though and just had a late lunch in the garden under the sunshade.
Gawd there's some miserable ones on here.

I like sitting out in the sun if I can find time. Its good to stop sometimes. My skin darkens quickly (The South Africans wanted to recategorize me once whatever that meant).

The big problem here are the real flying rats - seagulls - loads of the noisy *** crapping and fighting.
