morning, Tuesday already, the days are flying by, i hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Have you anything planned for today. I am off to Moorfield's eye hospital this morning, so won't be on here too late, as I need to make an early start.

I'm fine thanks - and thankful that my eye problem is totally painless (mini-stroke caused slight sight impairment leading to permanent driving ban) and I'm rapidly becoming acclimatised to it.

A very thin overcast here but looks as though the sun is about to burn it off.

Morning, Emmie and Canary42. Sunny and 25 here later on. I hope they help with your eye problem, as I mentioned previously they can be both really physically and cosmetically irritating. I went to the hospital on Monday and had blood taken, got the results, and had a talk with the doctor. I was in and out within 2 hours! No big plans for today.

Good morning sanmac. Talking of hospital results, yesterday I got a copy of my Neurosurgeon's letter to my GP which opened with the statement "I saw this lovely 79-year-old gentleman", which I thought was most charming (and a bit of a boost, if I'm honest).

i watched an enthralling mens match yesterday Minty, the German lad, Jan Lennard Struff v the Spaniard Carlos Alcoraz, i think that's the spelling, i was entranced.

Alcaraz that is, who won, it was spectacular.

caught a wee bit of that emmie..matteo and rafa are the highlights today for me

will see how long i am in the hospital, if i get there early enough might be home to watch some of the tennis in the afternoon.
