Seems one Aber thinks so, but read from here: "Blair had a simple, reassuring proposition for the British people. He would not restore union power: the Thatcher laws which tamed the unions would remain intact."

Its a good read anyway and something Sir Kier should take note of.

//To call them something else, and pretend Labour didn’t win or the Tories didn’t win is just the ravings of an imbecile.//

Are you calling ttt an imbecile? He pretends Labour didn't win all the time
That is quite good by Andrew Neil.
What Blair managed to do was position the party as a more centrist party. 18 years of Conservative rule and people were ready for a change. Blair made transferring the electorate voting from Conservative easy. Not from one extreme to the other, but a tiny step to the centre ground.
I also agree Starmer should be doing better. It remains to be seen if he can improve in the next two years.
What he did was push it right of centre. Which ensured any split within it became a bigger issue.
Clearly Andrew Neil is not an imbecile.

That's apparent from the knowledge and informed analysis contained in his Mail piece today.

TTT says Blair was a Tory and Labour did not win 3 elections.
Ymb says the current Government are Greens not Tories.
It was me who said that is nonsense. Parties cannot stand still and constantly have to reinvent themselves to stay fresh and avoid being stale.
But Blair led a Labour Government and Johnson leads the Conservatives.
Not sure the point of the OP, everyone knows Blair softened Labour to make them more electable.
Spot on Andy Hughes. As Andrew Neil says what chance has SKS got with Angela Rayner,David Lammy and Ed Milliband on his front bench along with a number of other non- entities.

No, Gromit said I was an imbecile when I said similar.
YMB 17,32, I agree with Gromit on this one.
As usual, when the chance appears to insult somebody, Gulliver rears his ugly head.

It really is about time the mods/ed did something about it.
Boris refused to be interviewed by Andrew Neil,
Boris was shaking in his boots just at the thought of it.
/// when the chance appears to insult somebody, Gulliver rears his ugly head. ///

My italics. Oh, the irony
Ymb,
Apologies,
Imbecile was the wrong word, and I didn’t means to tar you with that brush. Sorry.
But I do not agree with you. Blair was always Labour, and Boris is a die hard Conservative. You may not agree with the current complexion of the party, but they are what they are.
andrew neil is an imbecile because...... his view is inconsistent with someone else's on AB
