Thanks Steff and good evening all.

Well done Chris, I was too busy looking out at the moon to notice Steff's post appear, swiftly followed by Haras.

And good morning, twix how are you
Thanks, Steff. I think that living less than 20 miles from Gainsborough's birthplace might have helped a bit, allowing me to sneak ahead of the Welsh brigade tonight ;-)

Hi Steff,
I'm not too bad thanks, although still suffering the after effects of Shingles that broke out about seven weeks ago. Mrs. T is not very well, but the medics have not been able to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis over the last two and a half years. That's the problem when you get old.

How about yourself? I hope that the cataract operation was successful. I have an eye test next Tuesday, when I'll probably be told that my cataracts need doing, and that I shouldn't be driving at present!

Every little bit helps these days, Chris :))

Thanks twix, all over now and my eyes are healing well. I will need glasses for reading and other close work, just now I’m using a magnifying glass I find I don’t have enough hands !!

Sorry to hear about Mrs twix, this has really dragged on for her and there’s nothing worse than not knowing, please give her my regards, I hope they get something sorted soon.

Shingles can take their sweet time I believe, do you have a lot of pain ?
Not a lot of pain, but the area seems to get very sensitive during the course of the day. I haven't yet tried playing any golf, as it was over the right side of my chest and back, which my golf swing would cause my arm to rub over the affected area.
