Sofology - Still Waiting For My Sofa

I ordered my sofa on 14th June and was given a delivery date for Sept. Due to the problems with shipping etc in the summer this was pushed back to Oct and then there was a further push back to 29th Nov, yesterday. The normally provided a update on my account showing the revised delivery date but this time they have not and it is still 29th Nov. I've tried their webchat and no 9ne is responding on that - it's been over an hour. I'm also been on the phone for over an hour. Started as number 73 and now 44 in the queue although that keeps jumping about to 45, 46 then back to 44 again. Very odd.

I tried calling and the webchat yesterday to find out if they were delivering but had the same problem. I also submitted an online support request 2 weeks ago and not had a response despite 72 hour turnaround. I don't have time to go to the store.

Don't know what else to do and pretty sure many other customers are in the same boat. Any suggestions?

I don't have the time Sqad...working, school runs etc., plus my parents have got my car as they had a accident in theirs last week.

Reviews of Sofology on Trustpilot go from "brilliant" to "appalling" re customer service....most of the "appalling" reviews have virtually the same experience as you!

But from the two links(websites) 87% of the customers rate it as excellent.

I can't believe my phone cut out just now after 2 fricking hours. I got to number 18 in the queue as well. Just tried to call them and it's over 80 now.

I am effing livid!!!!!!!
It appears they are fine and dandy at the selecting and buying stage but mince when it comes to delivering the goods.
How far away is the shop from your home?

Approx 5m sqad. I'm working as well (dealing with a high profile case that hit the headlines) and working lates around school run.

After about 2 hrs of waiting for someone to read and respond to my webchat I got a response. They can't give me a date for delivery as it hasn't been delivered to the store yet! Am fuming!!

I'm getting £50 off as a goodwill gesture. Doesn't help with seating at Christmas though when I've got family coming round :o(
Such a pity you have paid such a big deposit tiggs,, else you could have cancelled the sofa .
I now know where my next sofa will not be from sofology .

They offered to cancel but if I order one from elsewhere I could potentially be waiting another 3 to 4 months.
