morning, saturday and the weekend is here, i hope that you are all well and have a lovely day.
the weather has turned quite cold so it's time to wrap up warm.
anyone have any plans for today, doing anything exciting? I have an online shop to sort and a phone call from a friend in NI, though i might if it's not blustering, take a walk to the local for lunch afterwards.
had some good news, i will be seeing my family at Christmas as they have invited me to stay with them for the week, which i am delighted about. Its still a way off but at least i won't have to spend it alone, especially as last Christmas was so awful.

Morning Emmie! That’s great news about Xmas! I actually rocked the subject with the in laws this week. We tend to alternate - one year at theirs, next year here etc etc, but since FIL’s son from previous marriage has had his first biological grandchild it’s all been thrown up in the air a bit lol. So MIL is trying to suss out what’s happening over the next week or so. If the routine sent back to normal then it would be us two, plus brown smow at their plus MIL’s son from her previous marriage.

sounds complicated, though i hope that it works out for you.
i did ask my brother and SIL if i could come down and they said no problem. So will spend Christmas day and probably Boxing Day with them, at their daughters new house, which will be nice.

Morning 1ozzy lol! Re Xmas - in an ideal world FIL’s son, wide and toddler would also join us on these alternate Xmas’S , but the wife is a terrible terrible snob and would spend the w tire time looking down her nose, and name dropping Eaiteose every 30 seconds lol!! The son actually isn’t too bad. Anyway, FIL has never mentioned it, but I know that he knows she would ruin the atmosphere.

So the year that we go to inlaws the son go to her parents,and they year we don’t they go to his (my inlaws). (Have I confused anyone ?? Lol)

pity that some can't put their differences aside for the sake of harmony in the family, we don't argue or fuss about anything, probably due to the fact we don't see each other regularly. Even if we lived next door to each other i don't think me and my brothers would not get along.
