Little Tigs has gone with his dad to stay with him for the week. This is the first time I've been on my own in my new house and I'm feeling a bit lonely now, lol. I'm sure I'll be fine with Netflix and Prime etc., and it's nice to have some time to myself to relax.

Time for a new lego set I think. That'll keep me occupied ;o)

>>> Time for a new lego set I think. That'll keep me occupied

I bought my grandson one of these (among other presents) for his 11th birthday a few months back:

I'm told that it kept his dad busy for hours ;-)

If you've got three hundred quid to spare though, you could try building this:

My brothers got the car one, Chris and I did look at the haunted house one but is was a bit pricey. I like the creator sets where you can build 3 different things :o)
I'm sure that my brother still has his train set hidden from his kids, just to keep it safe until they could be trusted with it.

The kids are in their teens.

We've got a lego train set up in the loft.
I see this is shown as 'retiring soon' on the official Lego website, Tigger, so (if you've not already got it) it might be worth adding to your shopping list:

(It's part of the Creator 3-in-1 range, which is shown in full here: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/themes/creator-3-in-1?page=1&sort.key=PRICE&sort.direction=DESC )

I got that one a couple of years ago, Chris :o)
You could build something like this

The train set at the beginning of the video is the one we've got, Wolf :o)

I've been looking at this and I got a £20 lego shop voucher for my birthday to use up.

An empty! Woohoo! :-)
It looks suitably silly for you, Tigger ;-)
Question Author
I like silly ;o)
sounds like a nightmare - keeping hurting your feet because careless parents have left Lego bricks lying around...
What do you do with them once you have made them tigger? Does your son also like Lego? My grandson loves it, I can't get him any of the bigger sets as he lives in NZ and have to be careful of dimensions of boxes and weight.
holy smoke. £135??? You could get a real blacksmith cheaper than that!
Learn to do it competitively, Jno!

sheesh, don't tell the MoD, Buenchico, they'll be wanting some
It's an expensive hobby. I hope you let little Tiggs play with your toys.
Question Author
Little Tigs plays with them for a bit and then they go in the loft. I know I'm wasting my money but I like constructing thinks and love lego. I need to sell some though.
