I have only 1 half of an answer to find and it it driving me barmy.
No.10 I have the answer to the first part, but have only found 1 word that rhymes with it . The question is - Someone taking an exam - an easy one. I have pencilled in Sitter, but I'm not convinced it is right and that I've probably made it up. No dictionary gives this as an option. Help! Any advice or clues would be very welcome. By the way, I can only find 1 12 letter word to satisfy the first half. Please have mercy on a poor old lady and put her out of her misery.

Sitter is what I have, clearly defined by 'easy one'
Sitter looks good

But I am sorry, I don't understand what is the first part that is 12 letters?
OP has got the other clue - they are in two parts and rhyme.
Thanks Mamya - then, provided that part rhymes with sitter, then everything is hunky dory!
Works for me, yes.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Mamalynne obviously has the same as me for part 1. The others have given suggestions which now opens the question of what can the first part be if not the one I have. Aaaagh. I'll ponder it a bit more then decide. It's not as though I'll lose out on a life changing prize, is it? Lol
The others didn't know that your question has 6 letters.

10a 12

10b 6

Jj109- the first part of the question is- Extremely funny joke (12 letters). Both parts of the answer have to rhyme. I assume you aren't familiar with this quiz, but I appreciate that you tried to help me.

Yes, Mamyalynne, I think the sun has addled my brain. Forgot to put letter count for my original question.
sitter and sidesplitter whichever way round
percyverunce already had the answer to the first one.
Question Author
Yup, that's what I already had for the 1st part. I'm now going to finish completing the form and get it in the post tomorrow. Thanks to all for your input.
percy certainly lives up to his name!
Question Author
Lol!
I thought you were a lady :-)
sorry, she lives up to her name, I presumed (wrongly) that percy was a male name
It's a great name too,

Right again, Mamyalynne! In fact, I think you used to do my quizzes for the Radcliffe Animal Shelter a few years ago. I remembered your name.
