Little bit nervous but here goes.. Earlier whilst using water from my radiator to complete the making of my pot noodle after season 3 of my bullseye collection fell from a height and knocked my kettle over I got to thinking...

How long would a family of earwigs survive if trapped under an orange b&q bucket assuming the floor is concrete?

Depends. Do you mean the African earwig, or it's less hardy Eurasian cousin?
With air holes probably a day and a half.
That's some definition of 'new' you've got going there!

The father is Slovenian and the mother Kenyan
That makes a difference bob .....
That could work in their favour.
Depends if they are wearing their beige zip-up cardigans or not.
How many are in the family?
Roughly what direction is the handle facing ?
I'd say about 17 days before cannibalistic tendences take over, then it's survival of the fittest (and fastest).
Am I to assume that you are holding this earwig family hostage? Practicing nefarious experimental tests upon nature’s finest will awaken the earwig king. You do not want to wake the earwig king........do you?
Have you got the one with the infamous John Cooper on in your Bullseye collection bobtheturkey?

"How long would a family of earwigs survive...?"
About 3ft 6ins, give or take a cm.
Yr hardly new. Youve been on ab since 2005!
2005? must be a world record for a turkey . . .
The handle of my bucket (not from b&q) stands proud when said bucket is upsidedown. If there were earwigs under it they would escape. By the way, I haven't seen one earwig for ages, let alone a family.
