One of these days I'm going to have a quiz, do none of it myself, and see how many answers I can fill in from AB

Totally agree - it doesn't close until July.
If you are doing a quiz and you don't want it spoiled for yourself, then DON'T click on the questions headed "Money Matters".

If it is not headed correctly (as many are not) then as soon as you see the questions relate to a quiz that you are doing, then click away before you look at the answers.

That way someone asking a question does not spoil it for anybody. The only way it would be spoiled is if you look at the answers, so if you don't want it spoiled, don't look at the answers!

This site helps people that are struggling, and it makes no difference whether it is one day into the quiz or two months in. If I did a quiz and finished nearly all of it I should want to know the last couple immediately and not want to put it aside for two months and pick it up again then.

Yes I shall give myself a pat on the back - I have helped people where possible, which is the aim of this site
There are certain quizzes that I do immediately I get them, they don't go into the pile arranged by date - often these are the higher prized ones, but not always, you get to know the ones that will hit the screen the quickest.

That way I limit the disappointment, I hope this quiz continues the trend of raising huge sums for Marie Curie now the Bank are matching quiz sales £ for £.

Les is such a great guy and a popular setter.
Although I don't often do quizzes anyway, I think that I'm siding with JJ109 on this one.

As a rough analogy, (during non-Covid times) a couple of mates and I do the Times 2 (non-cryptic) Jumbo crossword from the previous day in a pub on each Sunday evening. We often find ourselves stuck on the last few clues and will then turn to the internet to find the remaining answers (and probably kick ourselves for not seeing what should have been obvious to us). It's nothing to do with 'winning', as we never send our completed crosswords in. It's just that we don't want to have to wait a full fortnight before finding out what the answers were.

As we're doing a Saturday newspaper crossword on a Sunday evening, I will have almost certainly seen "Times 2 Jumbo" pop up in AB's 'Latest Posts' window several times before I head out to the pub. As I don't want to know the answers before I sit down with my mates to study the puzzle, I simply take great care to avoid clicking on those posts.

So I can well understand others not wanting to wait months before finding out the answers to questions which have been driving them crazy for a few days.
I can see that side Chris, however it's been demonstrated often that when a quiz is asked with months left to run the sales often dry up.

Maybe I'm wrong and everyone who has answered this quiz for others have also the intention of paying their entry fee.

That would be great.

I am always helpful to others in the closing weeks of a quiz.

You must know by now that most of those answering this quiz are never going to buy it
I agree smouse, if they were going to buy it and support the cause and hope to win a prize, they wouldn't be giving away answers like they do.
