Just a fairly quick in and out today as I am off to get the second jab....plus a raid on the M&S temple... Morning all.....blue skies with some large clouds looming, just a slight chance of a shower. It still remains cold - to think it's May and the temperature here a max of 10°C, feels like 7°. No global warming to this year!

Morning all. I'm in hospital with pneumonia on my left lung. I was hoping to be allowed home today but that's looking as likely as Lord Lucan swinging by with Shergar for a cup of tea and a carrot.

Apparently the IRA did try to ransom off Shergar as he proved to be hot to handle. They sent a message to the Aga Khan and Michael Stoute attached to a leg, 'Send £5 million or this horse never races again.'

The little one came home from Nursery a week ago with a stinking cold, I caught it and before long I developed an unrelated cough with chest and shoulder pain. GP sent ambulance out to me because she was concerned about a blood clot.

I had a CXR when I got here which confirmed pneumonia.
