I believe you have to quarantine for 10 days wherever you stay once here. Spain is not on the red list which requires special hotel quarantine. Your airline, presuming you can find one flying here, should give you all the details.
Each of the four nations has slightly different rules. Assuming that you're thinking of flying to Belfast, Sandy, here are the relevant rules:

I have been looking into this myself, Sandy. This might help from the English editor of El Pais who flew over recently.

Two full cases of handmade Tapas for the good citizens of Northern Ireland will be your local 'tax', I believe.

I usually fly Ryanair from Santiago to Dublin and from there use my bus pass to get me home. They're doing Santiago to Stanstead and I could fly from a London airport to Belfast.
Are we still allowed the 800 cigarettes? In the past I've sold them to my cleaner at cost price. They cost €5 for 20 here and almost £12 back home. She should be making a fair wee profit when she sells them on.
As for tapas I'd like to bring a couple of pigs feet back home, solely because they're sold in a local cafe as 'manos de Sacerdotes ', hands of the priests.

Santiago to Dublin isn't running just now.^
We haven't been able to travel really since we came out of EU so no experience to go on but as a smoker who has looked into this I think currently we are now back to non-EU rules, ie only 200 cigarettes etc.

Prudie,
I'll not risk the €150 cost of the 600 ciggies. They likely would be confiscated.
The Coronavirus rules for flying into Stansted are here:
https://www.gov.uk/uk-border-control/self-isolating-when-you-arrive

If you're flying into Stansted, you're only allowed to bring in 200 cigarettes without paying duty. If you're flying into Belfast (which, for customs rules, still counts as part of the EU), there is theoretically no limit on the quantity of cigarettes that you can take in but you're more likely to be queried about whether they're solely for personal use if the quantity exceeds 800.

So the EHIC card is no longer valid for Brits flying the other way UK to Spain, for health Care ?
where has anyone asked (or replied) about an EHIC card? I think you are on the wrong thread
It was pretty much useless anyway Gully. Many travel companies pretty much insisted you bought travel insurance from someone.

To be fair to Gully, fags were being discussed and the changes due to Brexit not not really that far removed from the topic.
Gulliver:
Your EHIC remains valid until the expiry date printed on it. Thereafter you'll need a UK Global Health Insurance Card:

ok, i think i was a bit confused at the reply seemed apropos of nothing and wondered if he'd answered the wrong thread
Thanks Chico.
