In the year 2000, my sister bought 2 gold cartouche pendants from Argos - one for luck and one for love. She absolutely adored wearing them and bizarrely believed they worked. Over the years they got misplaced/lost and I was hoping to replace them. Argos, unfortunately , no longer stocks them. Having looked online it seems there are many designs that mean different things - can anyone help? If anyone actually has the cartouche and can tell me the symbols on them, I would be ever so grateful!

Old Argos catalogues are available free on archive.org. There's an ingot with symbols on page 34 in the 1999-2000 catalogue. https://archive.org/details/argos-autumn-winter-1999-2000/page/34/mode/2up

Amazing! Thanks Chinajan
And this is what AB at its very best looks like.

A detailed and interesting question, and a wonderfully well researched answer.

Round of applause for MDWCT2018 and (especially) for Chinajan.
Why thank you!
