I used to take my Christmas Cards to a local supermarket for disposal. Don't think this service is available any more, probably because of paper recycling bins. Seems such a shame to just put cards in recycling, anywhere else I could take them to be reused?

If you have to resort to the recycle bin remember that cards with glitter aren't accepted maggie.
Why not cut them up and use for gift tags next year
maggie, I think most of the places that would normally cut cards up for craft are not functioning at present. If you were happy to take them to the supermarket to be pulped, why are you not happy to put them in your recycling bin? If you are worried about people seeing then tear off and shred the signatures
I cut mine up and use for shopping lists etc during the year.
Try a new craft...decoupage. Use them for that...or give to a crafty friend.
I also cut up the white bits in strips for shopping lists and doing reminders.
