The guardian has stated that there is a draft paper published making it illegal to travel to Scotland.
Looked on the Scotland government site and it doesn’t say that just advise against it.
Does anyone know?

no idea sorry, though someone on here said they will be visiting their daughter in England, coming down from Scotland over the Christmas break.
not sure if that helps at all.
That's all there is, seems plain enough to me.

Maybe it hasn't filtered through to the website yet.Is there a phone number you can call before making your, what might be a wasted, journey?
Don't attemp it , you'll be stopped at the border ,by P C Penhale
Nicola is building a bonny wall and will make you pay for it :-)
No time for wall-building, she has a daily briefing to prepare for.
Between that and ****ing off the populace with half-arsed plans devised by a dentist it leaves her time for little else as far as one can see.
if you have just reason then you're not acting illegally.

eg work, etc
Come to think of it, there already is a wall :-)

Mushroom who decides what a just reason is? It’s either illegal or it isn’t
"Between that and pissing off the populace with half-arsed plans devised by a dentist it leaves her time for little else as far as one can see."

Excellent.

I heard on LBC this morning that people are being confined to their areas upon threat of a fine, and if a takeaway is ordered, it should be ordered from the area in which they live to avoid the deliver driver getting fined.

The woman's on a ***-with-power crusade.

Why not just say we're setting up ghettos - I wonder when the first pogroms will start!

Obviously the above is very tongue in cheek, but even so...
That's bizarre - pissing is an acceptable word, but p i ssed isn't!

How does that work?

we'll have to wait for the legislation to be published to find that out. but the following from Danny's link:-

Futhermore, a list of bizarre exceptions have been put in place which would allow the travel rules to be breached.

Scots can leave the country - or their locked down area - to feed an animal, donate blood or take a driving test.

Exemptions to the travel ban also apply for more common essential travel reasons, including for health, work or for school.
