Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Oh I think I see now Mamyalynne - these are sort of unofficial rules that you set for yourself? For when people ask too 'early'? Correct me if I'm wrong.

If that's the case do you have a set date when you will give answers rather than clues?

Not really that structured a system but in my experience quizzers like clues, after all that's why they quiz.

It's just me and I'm odd like that. :-)

Fair enough and not 'odd' at all. It must be frustrating when you're doing a quiz and others doing the same one pitch in here early doors and get others to do all the work.

I would be good form I think for people to actually clearly request clues.

If they do they still get given answers or clues that might as well be answers

I know what you mean, if I allowed it to frustrate me too much I'd probably take my leave of the site but I like it here.

Some quizzers do ask for clues and that's good, at least you get to see how good you are at doing clue setting.

Middling for me I think.
