Opened with a hit and a miss could be Jukebox Jury
3rd is Yakety Yak
(Confirm - 'Hit or Miss' was name of the theme tune to Juke Box Jury.)
Jockey is Jack Jones, if my previous answer has got lost...

CORPUS CHRISTI - port in Texas on Gulf of Mexico. Did Zigger Zagger check out, by the way?

Could mike b say why he thinks his answers correct? I have someone else.
Which one? Corpus Christi is a festival in the Christian calendar (Thurs after Trinity) if that's it. Other answers are always possible - what do you have, bikepacker?
Sorry, just noticed 'someone' else (RTFQ)! Jack Jones won Grand National on Shifnal, 1878, and his son Herbert won the Triple Crown in 1900, I believe.

Sorry to not reply sooner I have been off line thanks to BT.

You were right on Corpus Christi I was trying to be too clever and had something far more complicated.

I must be missing the obvious on Question 11. 'Worked Wonders'. It is the only answer I have yet to find.

Got it now. I said I was missing the obvious.
