Mexican18. I am doing this quiz too. I would think poodledoo has 'running' as the answer to Sport section No.1 Which sewing stitch is also a sport.
I put ' darts' for that. Not really sure,as I know little about sewing.
12) I have put ruching (rushing?)
Not sure if Darts would be classed as a stitch. It is more of a folded piece of fabric.

thank you for your answers.you are right bluebell, so are you going to put running for both answers?
Poodledoo. Sorry no internet last night.
Not sure yet. I was thinking about Knot for sewing term relating to speed but I have knot for No.2 Sport section Sewing stitch is a sailing term. Still prefer Running for No.1 Sport.
So am in a dilemma at the moment.

I put' tack' for the sailing term.
Well done Mexican18 you do know your stitches after all. Just checked it out and you are right there is a tacking stitch and tacking in sailing. Thank you so much.
