I ask the question openly in AB because, it is a means to inform you of my complaint and let other folk also comment, without you being inundated with emails.

There are numerous problems with AB which require attention but appear to be disregarded for attention. I shall just refer to the latest so far as I am concerned and see what other members care to report.

I type almost a paragraph as a reply to a questioner and before its conclusion, hey Bingo it disappears from the screen.

What are you typing on? Laptop or PC?

I hit something, not sure what, but it highlights my text and deletes it with the next touch. As I don't touch type I usually miss it.
If you mean that the original question disappears, it will be because the thread has been deleted or the member who posted it has been banned.

If it's simply your half-completed answer that disappears from your screen, it will be a problem with your browser.

G'day ummmm & Buenchico.....Thanks for your early morning responses.

I was using my HP Desktop PC with Firefox at the time I was typing an answer to Widowclothes. It was only what had been typed that disappeared . I gave up yesterday evening but have replied this morning.

I had thought it might be the browser but am more inclined to think that it is because of a compatibility problem with AB. I am certainly Not the first person to have had the problem when posting into AB.

It will be interesting to see if the Ed says anything.

Hi Hans,

I haven't heard of anyone having this problem before so I'd expect it to be a problem caused by your computer or browser. However, if anyone else reports that they've had the same problem, we will look into it.

G'afternoon Ed.........Thanks for your having responded on this matter.

I did wonder if there were a fault with my Computer or Browser but having read, in the past, of other ABers having had similar problems, I dismissed the thoughts, in line with an opinion I expressed in a previous thread :-
