My favourite's have been C DU 5 T on an expensive sports car and (far, far better) S1 LLY

We all have private plates, Mrs B probably has the best one, valued today at £45OO+, we like them, we'll keep them, but not giving details.
My plate in the UK spells my surname which I was chuffed with, and I've seen a black Bentley around with TUR 80 run together to spell TURBO which was pretty cool- nice car too. My Mum knew an antique dealer with CUR 10 to spell CURIO which was pretty fly as well.

AV 1, I want it.
Any moving of numbers/letters on a numberplate to look like it spells something should be an MoT fail, but I see loads of cars with plates altered in that way
B4 LDY, and yes he was.
The one I liked most was S108HAN.
Mine are all run together to spell my surname GG, and my brother was saying we'll have to get another set of plates to sticky tab over the top for it's MOT when it needs one, so I guess that's what other people do as well. x
haven't seen it, have heard of drain/sewerage company with JO 88Y

Was it Paul Daniels who had COM1C
An old friend of my in-laws had BT1. Apparently he turned down a humongous offer from BT to buy it from him.

This was in the 80s/90s. No idea where it is now.
Jimmy Tarbuck had COM1C, I think Paul Daniels had MAG1C
Jimmy Tarbuck - used to see it running round Richmond quite often.
Harry Secombe - HS 1 - White roller
ART 1 - Artful Dodger (Oliver) actor
Parked outside a pad on The Embankment 2B and NOT 2B - Which car shall we take darling? 2B or NOT 2B, That is the question... The choice was either a roller or an Aston.
I think it is Jimmy Tarbuck who has COM1C.
Iv'e heard of a vicar who has M1 GOD, there were rumours that he later got it changed to 1M GOD.
I knew an art dealer specialising in a certain artist who had L 5 10WRY on his van
I recall seeing the 'glamour model/Actress' Fiona Richmond, during the period she was with Paul Raymond, owner of Raymond's Revue Bar, driving around the City of London in her Mini with the registration FU2.
I've seen M1 CAR
