Been thinking about one of these for a while. Last night I succumbed.
From eBay I bought a robotic vacuum cleaner.
On line some of the prices were well over £150. I have got one for £17.38 including postage. Says it is new and unused.
One query though on the post it said it was from Leicestershire. But later when I was having another look after buying it, somewhere I spotted it was from China. But when I went back later on the reference to China had vanished.
It's due next week so looking forward to having a play.
OH is pleased as vacking is his job.
Anyone got one by the way?

I wonder what my cats would make of a robotic vacuum cleaner?

I did think about that Chris. I've not got a cat at the moment but many many years ago I had a dansette record player. It was on the floor. I was in the next room. Heard a funny noise. Cat was sat on record going round. Wish I'd photographed it but didn't have phones those days.

'Caveat emptor'

Cats and robotic cleaner fun to watch!! The kittens spit at it, one chases it, the others run away. 8 cats here at the moment! The cleaner works very well. Keep any electric cords of the floor when you use it.

Chris! How on earth did you know which one I bought? There are hundreds of them.
"Home, James!"

You did mention Ebay and the price. The seller may well be in the UK, but the item was probably made in China.
>>> How on earth did you know which one I bought? There are hundreds of them.

But probably not all at £17.38 though ;-)

I simply included the price in my search string.
If you hit on seller name it says “the seller is based in China”
Some China-based sellers have people who provide a warehousing/shipping facility for them here in the UK. So there's not necessarily any conflict between the statements that the seller is in China but the item is in Leicestershire.

Thanks for explaination Chris, it just seemed a bit spooky you found the right one!
Mr Cal loves them, he thought the cat would ride on them- the level of disdain the cat has is off the scale, it just sits there, looks at him and goes 'Idiot mortal!' ;/
If, Caran, you've been "thinking about one of these for a while", how can it have been a "spur of the moment purchase"? Signed, Bewildered of Burnley :-)
Don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t last long if the proper price is £150 and you paid £17.50
