Sergeant Morse now in uniform wasn't wearing the ribbon of the George Medal he was awarded along with his DCI in an earlier episode.
Inspector Javier in 'Les Mis' wore his medal one one-side then another, then not at all; sometimes wearing single row buttoned coat other times double lined buttons, often in the same scene.
Whatever happened to the continuity? That assistant probably still hoping for a Media Studies BA. Doesn't the actor even notice these discrepancies?

They now do it deliberately in order to get internet "blooper" coverage or appearances on All Right On The Night and similar programmes - there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Morse was driving around Oxfordshire in a panda car with Irish number plates.
Apparently the Panda car plates were an in joke
I can't remember the number, but apparently relates to the frequency of middle c on the music scale
