Is there a letter count for 80 please. Something to do with syphon ( Si something)?
First one- I thought of Alan Lamb the batsman (cricket) but can't build on that

Sorry I forgot to include the letter count fot clue 80. There are 7 letters in the answer.
How far in the past are the people? Maybe Caprice Bourret (sounds like burette).
Shame Dec&Ant? is the wrong way round
Strauss sounds like ( Straws) ?

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I think scrunge 999 probably has the right answer. It fits with others I've solved.
I've realised I need help with one more clue. 87. Three consecutive letters (6). Again, it must be a person of the Past.
At a stretch, Eminem? (MNM-consecutive letters)
JKL... Jekyll ?

I'm not sure about either of these answers. Please keep trying. The people must be real people and I think the answer to the three consecutive letters will have lived sometime between 1930 and 1970
Martin Luther king was born in 1929 and assassinated in 1968
