I know this has been asked before but I don’t think there were any definitive answers.
No. 46. The word Poughman’s then underneath, the word Picke.
For this quiz it usually means that words with the letter ‘l’ missing usually = Noel = Christmas. On the face of it that would give Christmas lunch with Christmas Pickle but I don’t really think that would be correct. Any ideas please ?

Thanks for your reply. Trouble is the setter always says “say what you see” so I think there needs to be some reference to ploughman or lunch or to some kind of pickle.
22. I’ve got white Christmas.
25. Christmas countdown
34. Merry Christmas polka (song)
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Are there any other thoughts on No. 46 Ploughmans pickle. This one has really got me stumped. Any help very much appreciated.
