Thursday. It's not raining! Mind you, there can't be much rain left in the clouds!

I didn't get to Wotton-under-edge yesterday, too soggy, so I went to see my old ex-RAF mate, We put the world to rights as always, if the politicians would listen to us the world would be wonderful! Mind you; there wouldn't be any politicians! :o}

Don't know whats going to occur today, we shall see.

I'm waiting for oil to dry on a couple of pieces, second coat then attach fittings.

Might make chicken, baby spinach and mushroom sausage rolls for dinner tonight, still pondering it.

That's the general idea mate. It's a grand wee shop. They only do organic and fair trade, they have things I can't find anywhere else. The girls that run it are delightful and make it a pleasent way to go shopping. There are four bakers on the main street, all doing a roaring trade, all having their own specialties.

Morning all. My specs finally gave out (well I did sit on them a few weeks back and one of the lenses kept falling out.) Popped down to the Opticians in the mall downstairs and they've managed to fit my lenses into a new frame. 40% discount but still at UK prices. Talking of prices, off to the Maldives tomorrow so stocking up with food bars etc to take with us. Prices are astronomical there I gather. Have a good day all - hope the weather perks up.
