Not a puzzle as such, but how do you manage
to remove the covering without obliterating
the prize beneath?

Can you elucidate, don't understand the question.
my first lot i could do with a coin but last week i found by using my nail removed the grey coating .
not to hard though^^^^^
Ah! understand now. Try using a twenty pence piece gently.
In a previous post, it was suggested that the card may have become damp and that heating it with a hair dryer might help to "dry out" the silver coating - making it easier to rub off.

it's there so I have a go, will follow your
tips ,thanks again.
I was so fed up with the quality of the covering of the scratchcard - rubbing too lightly and nothing happened, rubbing a bit harder and you went through to the base of the card that it went in the bin as have subsequent cards.
Therein lies the rub!
