Can I ask if anyone has the same answer for questions 28 and 34 in this quiz, please? :o(

(34 is now 8 letters re message by quiz setter, not 7 as on the sheet)

No. If my answers are right, lol, 28 is definitely 5,3 and 34 is 8. Any more help needed?

Thank you Kustard and Mexican. I think that I have these two now. For 28 I was thinking more along the lines of a toy for 'choose to play' not playing, so to speak.

I have just 5 to finish if you could help by giving me 'hints' only' as requested by the setter.

21. What the well-heeled farmer might say (8)... ...I've got in my mind 'revolver' but have no idea why as I can't see the logic!!
25. Pain in the neck (7)... ...I've seen this given as an 8 letter word but my sheet has (7) for it
31. Nick Maiden (7)... ...I am stumped; if I google it, it only has peoples profiles?
35. Cooper's hero probably had one (8)... ...I have two words in mind, both beginning with a 't' ??

I would be most grateful for any 'hints' please

Wow, I've just waded through the hints - thank you JJ, mally, mexican and emeritus. I think that I have them all now.
25 is a bit confusing, I think I have it but there seems to be a myriad of different spellings for it , if I have the right answer?

Leecon - on your posting yesterday I suggested 28 as an 8 letter word which I thought fitted the clue, which was Crossbow, but not correct if it is definitely 5.3

Davemano, thank you for your comment at 21:16. That's why I asked if two answers were the same as I already had Crossbow for another question. This quiz has been quite a challenge and has had my brain working well!!
