Any help with two answers - related to water - would be great! 1. Cosmetic company catchphrase (4,7) and 79. 1294 (3,8,2,4). Thanks

Oh thanks, Neveracrossword, for your quick reply - it's so obvious when you get the answer!
Someone asked this question on another site but was advised that teh quizzer had asked for no asking.

Please can you give details of how to get the quiz.

Hi fiction-factory I was sent the quiz by Rose Schofield with the proceeds going to the RSPB. Her email address is [email protected] if you want to ask for a copy. However this may well be the last one I'll be doing as I don't appreciate being told I can't ask for help on the internet. If I don't get the last answer I won't be sending my entry in so the charity won't be getting its £1 contribution.
Well she has said no asking on the sheet and also said if she knows who people are who ask she will not mark it. It's a shame you won't pay for it as this will discourage setters from making quizzes pay on return which saves on stamps. You have had the satisfaction of doing the rest of the quiz so surely you could pay and then decided not to do it next time
> If I don't get the last answer I won't be sending my entry in so the charity won't be getting its £1 contribution.

Or you could send it off with one answer missing and maybe send in a slightly smaller amount of say 90p in protest at the last question being too hard for you. I have won prizes in such quizzes with an incomplete set of answers.

If it might not be marked, I wouldn't send it at all. The apparent attitudes if some of these setters have stopped me from buying any recently.
What a shame, I send many in with blanks or wild guesses.

Your choice of course.
I agree with Pixie 374 if it won't be marked why bother sending it in?
Setter says it won't be marked if the asker is identifiable - that may or may not be the case here.
The Rainbow Charity quizzes are very popular and raise an amazing amount of money , yet answers are always eventually given/swapped on line. Most people give more than the £1 requested when they enjoy a quiz and appreciate the amount of work which goes into setting.
Likewise though Cashier why ask for it when you know the setter has said no asking. If she doesn't know who May54 is then it will get marked but more and more people are choosing to ignore the setter's requests. There are still plenty of quizzes out there that they can and do ask. Quizzes are won with blanks
Then why do they not stop making daft requests and ask for the money upfront, as you would expect them to? The whinging, whining and comments not to mark them are doing them no favours at all.
You'd have to ask Rose, I get them as follow ons.

Some quizzes are downloads, pay on return, some are send money first (postage costs add up), some are bought via paypal.

Not all are the same and there are many quizzes that allow asking, so something for all.
I understand mamya x it's not the not-asking in itself. But I very much doubt the majority of setters have such stinking attitudes as smouse is making out. They are being put in a really bad light on here.
Most setters are great and work hard for the causes.
Good for you May54. If you need an answer that's what the Answer Bank is there for and it is just the same as asking friends and relations. As for the quiz setter not marking an entry that she knows asked for help that is shameful as the quizzer has paid for the quiz.
CAJJES, as equally shameful as not sticking to the rules of the quiz?
May has stated that won't send in the £1 if she doesn't get the last answer and that is her right.
Form does say that any entrants with at least 20 correct answers ( out of 80) will be put into a consolation prize draw
