Sunday. I didn't get home until late last night. A quiet day on the canal, due to the weather, but we did have some lovely people in and lots of fun was had when three people who live close to me came in, They are all as mad as me! :o}
We called it a day at 1515 it was blowing an 'ooligan and the heave rain was horizontal.
We got to my friend's home, where his lovely wife had dinner ready for us. It was a wonderful meal, The wine was good, the company was even better and we had a grand evening.

As I drove home through the wind and heavy rain ,the traffic came to almost a standstill as we crawled past a lot of blue light vehicles at the side of the road. As I drove passed I could see a small hatchback down a slope at the side of the road, it looked like it had rolled a couple of times. what looked like two covered stretchers told the story.

A sad end to a lovely evening.

Could have been an "accident" or people not driving according to the weather conditions, who knows.
