After being without my Sky for about 3 months and couldn't get through to them I finally got a Sky worker who got me going again ie a homer job. Paid him privately - worth every penny.

I am so enjoying Sky Arts - I tape them all and watch at my leisure. Love it.

Good news JJ.
That's not very good for Sky, makes me glad I got rid a few years ago. Couldn't bear to think how Wayne Rooney was spending my hard earned.

3 months Jenny, or 3 days?
I know they can be bad at times, but not that bad, and hope you didn't pay the monthly bills.
JJ each to there own but I find more than enough channels on freeview and won't pay what I think are Sky's overpriced service

3 months TRT - £32 a month so that would have been £96.

I can't be bothered with the hassle of Indians telling me what to do I can't hear them or understand them.

TonyV - yes you are correct there are enough Freeview channels but you - well I can't record them. So Sky Record+ , I think does the heap.

Friend has got Smart TV and I hadn't a baldy what it was about until I called yesterday - she showed me all these "APPS" - Netflix, Sky and so many others.

But as someone once said to me - "you can have 800 channels but you can only watch one" - too true.

But I like being able to record.

thanks Tony - re TVs and getting them tuned etc - I am loathed to rock the boat.

I do have a 40" or 42" at the mo - it'll do me rightly.

Anyhow - g'night all.
Ok JJ when your contract runs out think again night
It's easy to save money with Sky. Just ring up and say you want to cancel. They offer big discounts to keep you.
I agree,I enjoy programmes on Sky Arts too., also on the W channel.
Earlier this year I cancelled landline, broadband and my NowTV subscription. And I changed my mobile phone contract to 3 with unlimited data and 30Gb hotspot. (£25/month)

I bought an Amazon Firestick at christmas for £20 and can stream any tv/film/sport, anytime I want to watch them.
I can record on Freeview.
