Local quiz where all answers are medical or medicinal terms. Please help as we are stuck on the following (clearly not medically minded!)

1. Seek advice from a worker
2. Facial features inverted left
3. If shortened round a misshaped coot is back to full length
4. A sudden move to limits of railway
5. Useless person
6. Sound record at end of rally
7. Half of accord and half a tenner can produce a feared outcome
8. Aiding emergency call to come to a conclusion

Thanks very much in advance
