I have just one question left in a quiz and would love to be able to finish it and send it back. Any help given would be appreciated.

Who invaded England to claim the throne by virtue of his marriage to the former king's niece, but lost two battles within 3 monthss before becoming king of his native country.

I thought it might have been Prince Louis who had been engaged to Richard I's niece. He invaded England in 1216 against John. He was proclaimed King but John's sudden death caused the barons to desert in favour John's son Henry III. He became King Louis VIII of France in 1223.
