Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Dear Quizzer
I am writing on behalf of my mother, Rosemary Reeves. You might already know that she was admitted to hospital at the beginning of this month because she had a stroke. We don’t yet know how much of a recovery she will make but I am told that, on her way to hospital in the ambulance, her main concern was “You must sort out the quiz!”
The quiz raised nearly £300 for St Michael’s Church Shirley, and she is going to make it up to a round £300. I’m sorry for the delay in letting you know the result. There were 67 correct entries and yours was correct. The winners were selected at random from those 67 and they were:
First prize of £15: Eileen Fenty
Second Prize of £10: Mrs M Hutton
Third Prize of £5: Carol Williamson
Lucky draw £5 prize: Janet Davis
Thank you very much for taking part. These quizzes give Mum great pleasure and she is very encouraged by quizzers’ kind comments. I am attaching a copy of the correct answers. I know that some of you have also sent SAEs, and I will send out paper copies to you as soon as I can get to a printer that works.

I didn't enter the quiz but please pass on my best wishes your mother and I do hope she makes a good recovery.
No doubt her hard work has given much pleasure and frustration to many quizzers and raised valuable funds for a worthwhile cause.
