Your comment when you asked this quiz last time

Before anyone starts 'having a go' I know the setter requested no asking for clues etc on here

So why ask this time too
25 going going
Yes Janbuck, do as you're told.
Setter politely requests 'no asking on inernet sites to keep other quizzers happy'

copied from on here where the quizzes are listed
so why ask??

With only 3 days to go before quiz has to be in surely I'm not spoiling it for anyone for goodness sake!!! Anyway the quiz setter can ask people to do something but she can't TELL them! I rarely ask on here anyway so back off!! Thanks for those who were kind enough to help.

Had they known the competition rules it is likely they would have refrained.
I sent mine in with 3 blanks and a couple of silly answers. I know a lot of quizzers do the same. It is unfair and not acceptable to ignore the rules of the quiz.

Oops much too late.
I too have done this quiz on my own, and have sent the quiz in with gaps or silly guesses, but no doubt we won' t get any credit for sticking to the setter's request for no asking on AB.I totally agree with furrypussycat.
Poodledoo - I'm sure the quiz setter is aware of this thread and the identity of the original poster (who makes a habit of such posts) and so will disqualify her for what amounts to cheating.

You'll all be pleased to know I haven't returned my quiz as I don't like sending them incomplete. Anyway Magpas have missed out and I won't do another one. Some quizzes give a date after which you can ask, I think I'll stick with those. Seeing as I rarely post on here I don't understand the implication that I 'do it all the time'! Thanks to those that helped.
So Janbuck you have had the pleasure of doing the quiz but now state that you won't return it so MAGPAS will lose out, does that mean then that you had the email version and therefore not paid in advance, if so that doesn't seem fair to me. I apologise if I have misunderstood.
I send mine in whether complete or not and even if I have accidentally overshot the close date - because I appreciate the time and effort that goes in to setting quizzes having done so myself.

Looking forward to the new quiz.

I have been a member of Answerbank for 10 years now and this is the first time I have been made to feel uncomfortable. I didn't think that asking questions 3 days before a deadline was such a big deal. Smouse, I have a great deal of respect for you, having seen you on here many times helping others. However it was unfair of you to accuse me of asking re this quiz twice. I only asked once but posted twice accidently as had problems with computer. Pulse876 was also wrong to accuse me of 'making a habit of it', as I rarely ask and mostly do so near the deadline, not as soon as the quiz comes out like some do on here. In future I will stick to quizzes without restrictions or with a date after which you can ask on here. I will send a contribution to Magpas this time but will not do any more of their quizzes. I think it's very sad how Answerbank has evolved over the years with certain 'vigilantes' making people feel uncomfortable about using this site for the purpose for which it was intended.

Actually I've just checked and have already paid for quiz in advance so my conscience is clear!
