Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am stumped with the answers to the following 6 questions. Is there any kind person out there able to unstump me?
1. Aircraft,Duke,Footwear, and a dish
2. Beam of light harbours mixed fuel
3. Sounds like only one bird
4. Secure, and grow old
5. Small stone
6. Sounds like clues

Thank you all for the answers so far. Unsure about SINGAPORE. I have managed to work out No2 - GLASGOW (glow with gas). Can I be cheeky and run another past you all? " Extra in a confused state"

Singapore was a very longshot that's why I added the question mark, another longshot - Xerta (anagram of extra) is a town and municipality in Spain.

1581960 - You certainly got further than me with your ideas. I had SINGLE written on my scribble pad, but could get nothing to go with it. As for XERTA, just a pity it was a town and not a city. Grateful thanks to all who helped and hopefully one day I may be able to repay you.
