Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I know several people are trying to get this one, but thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention again! For those of you who haven't seen it, the answer relates to food or drink (fact or fiction) and has 8,5 letters. Hoping someone can put us all out of our misery!

I've struggled for days with this one SOS. For inefficient locking system, I played with POOR KEY = porky or porci. Fiddled with LAMENT for sad song but have got nowhere. It's a real stinker!

Hi Methyl, the only punctuation missing is an exclamation mark at the end of the clue. No capital letters or anything.

Yes, Methyl, you're right about punctuation and how you've put it is exactly as it appears in the quiz. Any ideas?

I might be way off but how about "leeks" for the last word? I am guessing that these are inefficient locks on a canal which leak? Probably not though.
