I have just had a £1 coin in my change it say Belfast Pound on it , anyone know anything about it ?

This is one issued by the Royal Mint for the Capital cities of England, Scotland,
Wales and NORTHERN IRELAND Belfast being the capital of N.I.
Ulster is one of the four provinces of Ireland, with NINE counties SIX of which are in Northern Ireland and 3 belong to the Republic of Ireland.
