I have just printed off this quiz and I'm working my way through it.

I don't really understand the instructions - I am a bit slow on the uptake

Are the names of the snakes & ladder anagrams from the initial lketters or do the names run across (or down)

Also I don't understand what the grid at the rh side is for.

I'm hoping to get all the answers and then start to work out the snakes & ladders (good idea - or not?)

All explanations would be appreciated thnak you

thank you smurf - what is the grid for?
Question Author
sorry smurf you've already answered that
The snakes go down the quiz and the ladders go upwards. You use the first letters of each answer to make up the names of the snakes and the various ladders, reading down the quiz. There are 13 snakes and 6 ladders and you will find a Chambers dictionary very useful.
