Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hi all, thought this would be easy, eg JUNGLE FRIENDS is Tarzan and Jane, ST MICHAEL is Marks and Spencer but completely stumped by
"Portions of bacon?"

No set number of letters or even first letters but only 2 names. I'm sure the questionmark means something too......... been racking my brain over comic pairings, actors, musical duos but getting nowhere

Anyway, will be grateful for any help, and any kind of lateral thinking!

Its not something silly like Pinky and Perky is it. I have also been racking my brains and Im afraid that the best I can come up with

Rasher is Dennis the Menace's pet pig which is obviously a portion of bacon, but can't think of anything to go with it that fits with the clue. Pinky and Perky were two children's tv piglets but not eactly a portion of bacon.

I was thinking Abercrombie and Flitch ( but Abercrombie isn't a portion of bacon either). Flitch IS.

Thank you all for your help, think I will go for Pinky and Perky! But I do like the other suggestions, so thanks again. Peace of mind will descend till the next quiz arrives :)
