The “merry month of May marches” on and I look forward to a weekend of dry weather to permit me to return to the garden. I am often “helped” by a neighbour’s son, 7-year-old Elliott, who assures me that this is an example of alliteration! Over the years, I have always found interesting jobs for him to do and NEVER talk down to him. I am in the process of teaching him the game of draughts. He plans to be a Tae Kwon Do black belt by the age of ten! I wouldn’t bet against him!

Following on from last week’s Chat, I note that slaney picked up this week’s prize for the cryptic crossword in the Spectator [Well done]. However, she won’t be picking up any prizes for her attempts at trying to predict the MM Links of King Wickedtongue! Taking my life in my hands, I ventured to ask King Wickedtongue precisely which games HE enjoys playing. Tomorrow, your can read his response to my request.

If you dare, you should be “standing by” tomorrow morning at 08.45am, ready for the launch of MM Links with the vital four words to be predicted being declared at 9.00am. Remember that early MM hits gain bonus points! As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz (Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz.

However, as I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.

Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
You were a brave man asking King Wickedtongue to answer that question...!
Couldn't participate last week as I was away, but I looked at the results on Monday morning and can confidently state that I would not have gained any points at all! So I still have to open my account this month; but if it's going to involve balls I won't have a chance...
Evening all...a wet and windy week here!
Games men like to play? Hmmmm.....
What games are you thinking of, Pauline?
Football, rugby, golf? :-))))
Oh, you're such a tease!
Well I can't imagine what you thought I might mean!
Good evening all....well at least I know about 1 ball game, having just returned from a day playing golf in a very parched Kent, where we're still waiting for our first drop of rain for what seems like months!
Hi twix...you can have some of ours! We've had enough now. Just enough to water the garden nicely.
