Last week, I was very pleased to record a bumper MM Links Game when “The Count” (aka middlestump) actually “Lost Count” of the number of extras, no balls and byes he delivered. I am told that he has bowled many a maiden over! Furthermore, on the subject of Cricket, did a commentator really utter those (in)famous words when batsman Peter Willey faced the bowling of Michael Holding?

At this moment in time, the sun is starting to set and mark the end of a glorious day in the garden. After this goes live on AnswerBank, it will be Italian cuisine in the Croft together with a nice bottle of wine. I find that there’s nothing better for back pain from gardening than a good bottle of Chianti (to be taken internally).

I am keeping an open mind as to how tomorrow’s MM Links Game will go when “The Count” should open the channel of communication on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and his four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. Will it be another avalanche of points? ~ and remember: early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz (Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz. As predicted, my very respectable performance last month on KM Links was followed by my scoring ZERO points last week. I’ll just have to try harder!

However, as I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.

Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
Wasn't there also an instance of Lilley caught Dilley bowled Willey, or is that the stuff of legend too?
Evening, all.
Rashid takes 6 wickets; McIlroy's leading the Masters; Grand National tomorrow - not a bad weekend in store.
Missed last week's linking so have to catch up over the next three weekends.
Good luck to all... ... and thanks to Crofter.
Evening all...just settled down for the night!
What a lovely weekend we are all in for...sport and weatherwise.
Quiet on here tonight!
