I am stuck on 2 clues in today's Sunday Tribune crossword, any help much appreciated. I hope I have the letters right.

I thought that but I can't work out the Stick bit

Alcopop is correct - ALCO drunken, POP dad.
Always makes sense when you know what it is
But where does the stick come in ?
Aren't alcopops on sticks?????

Yea not sure about the stick bit, but I'd be fairly confident it's correct.
Did you get the other one?
Not where I live, they come in bottles here
