Please an explanation for 10A Letters from Athens read out in capital (5) I have C-I-O and I suppose CAIRO satisfies the Capital part but the rest eludes me.

Letters in Greek are xhi and rho - pronounced cairo
Sounds like Chi and Rho ( greek letters) read out
First letters of Athens read out iin capital.

thank you antonove, Pentalpha 8 and glasman I would never have worked that one out. Didn't do Greek at school, come to think we didn't do English either. Cheers RB
