Hi puddicat, I can't remember the last time we got a free paper, but was in Laaaaarnnndaaaan recently so saw a copy of the metro paper and it was surprisingly informative.

hi hasi i love the metro paper better than some of the nationals and its free!!
We used to get one but the free service stopped. I used to scan through it. It's good for ads n stuff, and local sports and lighting the fire and holding chips.
I love the magazines you get from airlines, they are really professional and very interesting.

singapore our freebie is useless the same all adverts, same old get fit section, even the weekly recipe is so expensive you would have to be quite well off to make it!!!
when we used to get a local paper the most popular page was the district court round up LOL
Ours used to be quite good, but now its on sale @ 50p which I think is a bit steep so I only get to read it if I can nick one. In fact there are at least three different ones around the area. They seem to cover around 50 sq miles or so ( thats a guess)
By the way the pilau is now getting good comments, "very fragrant and tasty" was one. Award yourself a big pat on the back.
