23: ??AB?R? ( How to interpret 106?...another clue?)
27: G?D??IN ( Who are these men at table? A hint?)
34: ?E?MI ( How to interpret 00? Another hint?)

Any assistance, hints, further clues, will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The "table" people are not all men. One is a woman and another could be either a man or a woman, depending on which of the two the crossword setter is referring to. But it does not matter which one because being married to one another they have the same name.
Tennis player = Nastase
4d: Ground = Cricket Ground
5a. Think of a TV series set in a hospital theatre rather than an actors' theatre.

8, 13, 15, 23, 27 and 34 are all the unclued Tablemates
