This is driving me potty.
Made good progress after identifying the 27Disms.
However is the last letter of 11A P? Also I think the 3rd letter of 35A should be E or T but can't find any reference to the definition which I presume to be Egypt

Eliot's first = E

Divinity = Ra

Definition = Piece of Ground

11a: ESCAP

Thanks for that. Should have counted the number of 27Disms. Don't know why I typed Egypt when I was thinking of Greece either! Senior moment I suppose.
Knew the answer to 35A had to be ESCAP. Just couldn't figure out why.
