I dont know if anyone remembers reading this question (I see it's most of three years ago and thanks again, incidentally, to BrumBob for having a stab at it) but I need to make it known that, after what must be well over thirty years I have it sorted at last. It was finally shown again on Saturday on ITV3.

It was The Two Ronnies, it was episode of 7 of Done to Death, featuring Charlie Farley & Piggy Malone and it was pretty much exactly as I remembered it.

Now I can sleep.
