Has anybody worked out the "apparent" periphery quotation?
What is the significance of the extra letters in some of the clues.
To the people who replied/helped two weeks ago many thanks.

I know that this is too late but the quotation around the edge was "The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook". The extra letters/words in some of the clues in clue order gave the phrase "Verbum sapienti sat est" which means "A word to the wise" - or something similar
