portable dvd with digital tv

I have purchased through ebay a `newest 8" portable digital tv+dvd player+mp3+cd+ game.

The dvd is okay but I cannot get the digital tv to work. It auto scans the channels but does not save them, it says `data saving wait a moment` but nothing happens.

I have gone back on ebay and emailed the seller quering this, he sent me a step by step message to tune the tv and said this should work but unfortunately it stops at the saving data and does not move.

Can anyone help? this could be a faulty machine so I was wondering if anyone had purchased the same one I have and had any problems.
