11 Andrea - And, also + Rea(d), studied (endlessly, drop the last letter).

13 Bagpuss, a UK tv cartoon. Buss, fishing boat, with A GP, a medic, inside (onboard).

17 Is will within your skill set- take the Women out of Wyoming and anagram it.

3D Another anagram(rogue) involving the next two words and the alternate letters , regularly, in ' from'.

Matakari, in case you're still untangling some of these, you had mistakes in 11, 1 D and 3 D.  I'm hoping the hints help!

Question Author

Many thanks for the useful hints, NACW. A few more to get before I can attack the Unclueds...

Thanks, Matakari. I expect you've seen that there are quite a few generous hints on the theme...

Question Author

Good morning, answers to these last three should help me wrap up the Unclueds, thanks!

32a     Edmund’s together with unknown twin (5) : ?SA?E

8d      Good Ireland eleven perhaps (4)  : ??R?

31d    Wasps’ centre missing serious game (5) : OA?R?

32 Ysame

8 Girl (as in 11 A)

32 Ombre, game.

Question Author

Many thanks, NACW, I've gone astray here.
34    Brit just after athletic goddess (6) : ?OMNNA
( Thought of JOANNA, but this can't fit.)

9D French sleuth with no time for food-fish (6)

?A?G?E

Also, can't parse 2D.

...medium long fine muslin (8) ORGANDIE

Thanks, Matakari. Your first N is wrong. 24 D is an anagram.

PiffPoff, Maigret is the detective, sleuth, with no T, time. Maigre, fish.

2 D. Organ, medium, newspapers and Die, long (for a pie or a pint say!)

Thanks, NACW.

Sorry to butt in, Matakari but I'd like some help with the last unclued, 18ac. Is it shade or trade? Neither seem to go with disentangle.

Not sure is 5d is trussed or trusted...or neither.

Question Author

Tilly2, I opted for “shade” and “disentangle” and am still looking for the appropriateness.  For 5d, “trussed”, made off…

Tilly, Shade has been confirmed a couple of times already, with mention of the definition in Chambers.

Thank you very much, both of you.

Thanks, Tilly2, I'm on commission for Chambers!

Matakari, if you have any of the other pairs, the three letters should leap out at you!

PiffPoff, glad I could help.

Question Author

Thanks, NACW, I see the anagram that led me to “Pomona” for 34a. About to tackle the instructions with outstanding unclueds:
7a    E?G
40a  E?E
25d  ?HY?E?
